Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the WrenJump macOS application and our website (collectively, the “Service”), operated by WrenJump Operator (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

WrenJump is designed exclusively for Apple macOS. It requires macOS system privacy permissions, including Accessibility access, to provide system-wide keyboard shortcut monitoring. Without these permissions, core features will not function.

WrenJump is sold via our own distribution channels and is not available on the App Store.

By downloading, accessing, or using WrenJump, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

1. Software License

WrenJump is distributed as a free application with functional limitations. You may use the free version at no cost.

After completing a one‑time payment through our merchant of record, you receive a non‑transferable, perpetual, personal license to unlock all features of WrenJump for your own internal use.

This license supports device switching: you may deactivate the license on your current device and reactivate it on another Mac.

This license does not grant you rights to redistribute, sell, sublicense, reverse‑engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, or share the unlocked license with third parties.

2. System Permissions

WrenJump requests Accessibility permission in macOS Settings. This permission is strictly required to detect global hotkey combinations. The application cannot capture or operate system-wide shortcuts without this consent. You may revoke this permission at any time in System Settings; revoking it will disable related features.

3. License Validation

WrenJump requires periodic internet connectivity to verify your license status and keep unlocked features available.

4. No Usage Analytics

WrenJump does not collect, transmit, or store any user usage data, usage statistics, feature usage logs or behavioral information. All usage activity stays locally on your Mac.

5. Update Mechanism

WrenJump uses manual updates. The software will not automatically download or install updates. You must obtain and install new versions by yourself.

6. Payment & Orders

All payments are processed by our authorized merchant of record (MoR). The MoR handles invoicing, tax calculation, payment collection, and order records. Your purchase contract is between you and us, with payment services provided by the MoR.

Prices displayed may exclude sales tax, VAT or other applicable taxes, which will be added at checkout based on your location.

7. Refunds

We do not process refunds directly. All refund requests must be submitted through the payment provider used for your purchase.

8. Intellectual Property

All copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property rights in WrenJump, including code, UI, assets and documentation, remain the property of WrenJump Operator.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

WrenJump is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the software will be error‑free, uninterrupted, secure, or suitable for your specific purpose. macOS system changes by Apple may break accessibility or hotkey functionality in future macOS versions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of your use of WrenJump, including loss of data or lost profits.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Term & Termination

These Terms remain effective while you use the Service. We may suspend or terminate your license and access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms (including the license restrictions in section 1), if we suspect fraudulent or unauthorized activity, or as required by law.

If we suspend or terminate your license, we may deactivate your license key, stop providing support and updates, and disable license validation for your device. Fees already paid are non-refundable; any refund request remains subject to section 7.

WrenJump is sold as a one-time perpetual license with no prepaid subscription period. If we discontinue the Service for reasons other than your breach, we will handle any refund request in accordance with section 7.

You may terminate these Terms at any time by uninstalling WrenJump and stopping use of the Service. To deactivate your license on a device, or to ask about the data we hold, contact us at [email protected].
